(French Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture) ,其個人魅力與藝術創作的影響力不容小覷。

Elisabeth Louise Vigée-Le Brun (1755-1842), took on the aristocracy's portrait commissions with her delicate and elegant painting style. With the outbreak of the French Revolution, she painted portraits of the royalty of other European countries such as Italy, Vienna, and Russia. Portrait of Princess Tyufyakina (1802) , which is part of the collection at the ChiMei Museum in Taiwan, stands out for its presentation style different from that of the same period.
This study will examine the life and artistic development of Vigée-Le Brun through historical documents, then explore the characteristics of the Russian period portraits of Vigée-Le Brun and Russian artists of the same period, then analyze the characteristics of portrait paintings, and finally, with Portrait of Princess Tyufyakina, explore the influence of Neoclassicism on the fashion trends in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
The study found that Vigée-Le Brun and his contemporaries, Vladimir Borovikovsky (1757-1825) were both influenced by sentimentalism, with Vigée-Le Brun utilizing gestures and expressions to express the emotions of his characters, and Borovikovsky expressing the connection between the characters and nature. After leaving France, Vigée-Le Brun 's paintings became more neoclassical and oriental. The dress style of Portrait of the Portrait of Princess Tyufyakina reflects the influence of Neoclassicism, featuring a high white waist, low-cut neckline, and short sleeves reminiscent of a classical statue.
