在生物辨識的領域中,指紋辨識感測技術是近幾年來不論學界或業界皆相繼投入研究與開發的重點技術之一;審閱目前已被提出的指紋辨識演算法或已被業界量產的指紋辨識系統,很明顯的可發現絕大多數的指紋辨識演算法皆仍需要依靠個人電腦強大的運算能力才能達到即時處理指紋影像與辨識的功能。雖然可提供極高準確度的辨識結果,但依賴電腦系統的運算能力仍舊為一項值得改善與突破的要點。有鑒於此,本論文發展出一套具有高辨識率且節省資源的指紋辨識演算法,藉此演算法能運作於各項需要安全性考量的電子系統或環境裡,以達到具可信賴的安全保護機制。本論文研究指紋辨識針對處理流程中各細項演算法的效能提高改善與可被硬體設計的實現度,提出一套新的指紋辨識演算法方法論:流向判定、排除潮濕、缺陷指紋,空間濾波增強模糊紋線影像,消除錯誤特徵等細節方法,實驗證明,此套演算法能達到高效能的指紋辨識。
In the field of Biometrics, fingerprint recognition is a popular technology. Many researchers from both academy and industry have been engaged in recently. In view of the current fingerprint algorithms and the fingerprint recognition systems provided by industries, it is not difficult to find out that the majority of the Fingerprint Algorithms still take much calculation on PC in order to process real-time fingerprint images as well as recognition ability. This may provide results in high accuracy, though its dependence on the great calculation of computer system that is the disadvantage needed to be improved. In order to conquer the weakness, This paper addressed a novel fingerprint reorganization algorithm, which indeed it can provide high performance. We expect that the algorithm will be able to function in terms of any security electronic systems or circumstances so that it can become a highly-trusted security system. This paper study for the improvement on efficiency of all the calculations in the process of fingerprint recognition and the possible practicability of the hardware design in an attempt to provide a new theory on Fingerprint Algorithm, it includes direction computation, wet fingerprint detecting, enhanced filter and ineffective extraction, etc. While system of proposed was developed and proven to work well through simulation and experiment.
