  • 自由曲面的建構需要相當繁複的工序及高成本。透過設計曲線的編排與彎折的角度來將平面上的曲線彎折成為曲面;鐵皮透過彎折成為型抗結構,使之成為了重量輕且便宜的建材,且根據原材料特性(金屬捲長向無限延伸)進行加工的方式得以大量生產。本研究將以曲線彎折作為決定曲面型態的手法;以現有鐵皮加工方式作為依據衍伸一套此型態專屬的的工法。

    本研究以曲線彎折作為決定曲面型態的手法,達到彎折後就能承受自重的型抗能力與曲線編排的精準性;研究現有鐵皮加工方法,並以此為依據衍伸一套此型態專屬的的工法,達到自由曲面建構縮減工序且降低成本的初始目標。最終以1:1實作做為驗證與討論。

    研究目標為透過折板加工方式本質的探討,創造一種別於以往自由曲面的建構邏輯,最後根據研究成果的極限延伸此工法的泛用性,並歸納出相應的空間需求與曲面類型。

    The construction of free-form surfaces requires quite complicated procedures and high costs. Curve folding can make the flat material be folded into the corresponding curved surface by the hemming through the arrangement of the curve and the angle of the bending. The corrugated iron sheet is bent into a shape-resistant structure and processed according to the characteristics of the infinite extension of the sheet length.Therefore, it has become a light and cheap building material.

    This research intends to construct a free-form surface with a curve folding method to achieve the shape resistance that can bear its own weight after bending and the accuracy of curve arrangement. And then design a set of more efficient and economical construction methods from researching the processing of corrugated iron sheet.

    The research goal is to create a construction logic that different from previous methods by discussing the essence of the folding process. Finally, according to the limits of the research results summarize the corresponding space requirements and surface types.
