本實驗由雷射激發螢光光譜(LIF)來做雙原子銫分子B1Πu電子態的研究,偵測波段在750 ~795 nm間。共得到轉動量子數v = 0 ~ 20共21個,加上轉動常數J,共得到B1Πu電子態的絕對能量979組,利用這些實驗數據擬合出B1Πu電子態的分子常數,進而利用RKR程式得到其位能曲線,並進而得到X1Σg+與B1Πu電子態間的法蘭克-康登因子(Franck-Condon factors) 。
得相關位能參數Te = 13043.683(5) cm-1,Re = 4.85 Å,De = 2338.5(8) cm-1,Be = 0.01077(1) cm-1,ωe = 34.37(4) cm-1.
With laser-induced spectroscopy(LIF), about 979 rotational transitions in different vibrational bands of the Cs2 ( B1Πu X1Σg+ ) system have been measured by Ti-sapphire laser. From the measured term values, Dunham coefficients, RKR potentials of B1Πu state have been calculated by Fortran programs and the potential parameters Te = 13043.683(5) cm-1, Re =4.85 Å, De = 2338.5(8) cm-1, Be = 0.01077(1) cm-1, ωe = 34.37(4) cm-1.
