  • 可調性視訊編碼(SVC,Scalable Video Coding)為一新的視訊編碼技術,因透過此壓縮方式可使有限頻寬的利用有更高之彈性與效率,故適合無線通訊與網路傳輸變動頻寬的應用;再者極寬頻(Ultra Wideband, UWB)技術的出現,其具有支援多種高速率傳輸能力,使得短距無線多媒體傳輸應用成為可能,本論文將於MBOA(Wimedia)[11]之上,利用SVC設計一多路徑收尋與選擇機制。為了傳送資料至傳送範圍外之目的端,需要轉傳節點幫助傳送,此即形成一路徑,並可進一步利用多路徑將資料轉傳至目的端,不同於使用Node Disjoint之多路徑集合,我們加以考慮路徑相關作為路徑收尋依據,根據模擬結果顯示,對於路徑相關之考量能有較高的吞吐量。根據考慮路徑相關所得之多路徑,實行路徑選擇機制,以往的路徑選擇大多以網路層參數為考量,並未善加利用多媒體資料流特性與實體層參數作為路徑選擇依據,在此不僅使用多媒體資料特性所得之有效保證頻寬,且考慮MBOA固有提供多種傳送速率,及導致之位元錯誤率,成為最佳資料流分配之路徑。模擬顯示在路徑選擇機制能選取較低之錯誤影響路徑,而有較高之吞吐量。

    SVC(Scalable Video Coding)is a new on-going video compression technology. For wireless communication and network transmission applications, the transmission channel will have more flexibility and efficiency by using this technology. Moreover, because of the present of the Ultra-Wide-Band(UWB) technology, which support many kinds of high speed transmit ability, the short range, wireless multimedia transmission application are becoming possible. In this paper, we utilize SVC to design a multi-path search scheme and a route selection mechanism on MBOA(Wimedia)[11]. In order to convey the information to the destination outside the range, need inter-media node and helping to convey, this forms one path promptly, and can utilize multi-path to transfer the information to the destination further, different from using the route set of the amount of Node Disjoint, we consider the path correlation with accepting the basis of seeking as the route, Simulation show that the path correlation can achieve a higher degree of throughput. Implement route choose mechanism according to consider multi-path correlation, the past route is chosen mostly consider with the parameter of the Internet, which does not utilize multimedia flow characteristic and physical layer parameter effectively. Here, Not only utilize the bandwidth valid assurance of the multimedia flow characteristic but also consider MBOA offer the speed of many kinds of conveyance, and the bit error rate caused inherently, become the best flow distributed in the route. Simulation shows that path selection mechanism can choose lower mistake path and there is higher throughput.
