本論文主要研究在不同層次的多媒體平台,藉由一個整合性的標準來作仲介,進而達成多媒體框架標準,使異質數位媒體共存於同一瀏覽介面之上。
現階段的網路多媒體介質各成一體系,在百家爭鳴的播放媒體各自提供播放平台,要如何方能達到各種多媒體標準的銜接,在MPEG組織甫於2002年訂定的MPEG-21 正為達此目標已陸續完訂相關標準,而其中 DIDL ( Digital Item Declaration Language ) 的制定使得MPEG-21不再遙不可及,也為未來在多媒體的智慧財產權管理與保護 ( IPMP )、正確表示語言 ( Rights Expression Language )、正確資料字典 ( Rights Data Dictionary )、 數位項目介面(Digital Item Adaption)奠定了發展模式。本文運用DIDL與XML的相關機制來實際架構出 Multimedia Framework,使異質多媒體共存於單一框架上,實際印證MPEG-21標準可行性,也運用資料交換標準語言的XML相關機制來達成此應用。
This thesis presents a multimedia framework for different level multimedia platforms, by integrating a standard interface to construct a multimedia framework there are many different digital multimedia contents exist on a browser base frame.
The present day, there are many network multimedia have their formats,In the competitive market, every media player has support his owner format. How these various multimedia elements fit together. The MPEG Organigation formulates MPEG-21 standard continually at 2002. DIDL 『Digital Item Declaration Language』 has established that make MPEG-21 foreseeable future and settles foundation of developing model for IPMP 『 Intellectual Property Management and Protection 』、 Rights Expression Language、Rights Data Dictionary and Digitial Item Adaption. This thesis make use of DIDL and XML relation function to constructe multimedia framework and make various multimedia elements fit together . Really to prove MPEG-21 is feasible and than we use XML 『eXtensible Markup Language』relation function to procure this application.
