隨著資訊科技的進步，PDA (Personal Digital Assistance，個人數位助理)的功能越來越強大，而其普及度也日益增加。如何應用這嶄新的科技來便利我們的生活、發揮其最大的效益，便成為了一項熱門的話題。本論文利用PDA作為互動討論的教學平台，以無線網路為基礎，老師與學生可不受限於課堂，在戶外或其他地點也可即時進行互動討論，排除空間地形的限制，以期達到隨時隨地學習的目標。

在目前PDA的系統中，由Microsoft所推出的Windows Mobile系統具備了功能強大與支援多工的特性，所以成為本論文採用的對象。利用其多工特性，我們可以同時維護每個建立的連線，以保障整體連線品質，並同時提供額外的功能讓使用者使用而不會影響基本功能的運作。另外，與Windows Mobile對應的開發工具Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2003具備跨平台開發特性，可輕易將程式移植至PC平台執行，且與Microsoft的Windows作業系統相容性最佳，所以也成為本論文採用的開發環境。

With the improvement of information technology, the functions of PDA (Personal Digital Assistance) has being more and more powerful. And the popularity of it is growing up day by day. How to apply this new technology to make our life more convenient, and get a great benefit from it, is becoming a hot topic. In this thesis, we use PDA as an e-Learning platform to implement interactive discussion. With the wireless connection, teachers and students can do the real-time interactive discussion anywhere, not only in the classroom but also outdoors or other places. Eliminate the restriction of places, our target is to make people learning anytime, anywhere.

In the PDA’s operating systems nowadays, the Windows Mobile operating system developed by Microsoft Corporation has the features of powerful functions and support of multi-tasking. So we choose it as our implement platform. By the multi-tasking feature, we can maintain all connections at the same time to ensure the link quality. And we can provide other functions to users but not affect the operation of basic functions. Besides, the development tool of Windows Mobile operating system, Microsoft Visual Basic .NET 2003, has cross platform feature. We can easily make our program running on PC platform. And this development tool has the best compatibility with the Windows operating system. So we choose it as our development environment.
