企業可經由建立跨組織的資訊系統與改善內外部成員間之系統差異性,使其各個環節都能透過資訊分享來提昇供應鏈管理績效,這種效應驅使大型零售商建立自己的供應鏈體系,以獲得整體供應鏈的利益及優勢。但是隨著電子供應鏈之興起,也對各成員的電子化系統與成員間的關係造成相當大衝擊。成員先前為符合個別需求與意願而可能採用不同的電子化系統,因為必須與其他成員的系統整合而導致電子化落差。另外,在以中小型企業為主的台灣經濟環境中,成員之間關係的維持,特別必須仰賴成員間之相互信任與依賴來共創競爭優勢,因此組織間的良性互動關係就愈顯重要。
本研究透過相關文獻彙整與業者訪談,歸納出一般企業在推行電子化所面臨之電子化落差與影響成員關係之因素,嘗試探討在大型零售商之供應體系中,成員之電子化落差與成員間關係之因果關係,並探討成員間之電子化落差與成員關係,將如何影響資訊分享程度與供應鏈績效,主要結論如下:
(一)成員間之電子化落差與成員間關係互相呈現負向顯著之影響效果。
(二)電子化落差對於資訊分享程度與供應鏈績效呈現負向顯著之影響效果。
(三)成員間之相互依賴關係對於資訊分享程度呈現正向顯著之影響效果。
(四)成員間之相互信任關係對於供應鏈績效呈現正向顯著之影響效果。
經由實証研究發現,供應鏈成員間之電子化落差與資訊分享程度對於供應鏈績效有顯著之正向影響效果,故台灣零售產業之供應鏈體系如欲提升其整體績效,如何藉由彼此間的互信與互賴機制之建立與維繫,來降低成員間之電子化落差與鼓勵資訊的充分交流與分享,將是未來努力之重點目標。
By establishing inter-organization information system and improving system gaps between supply chain members, it can increase supply chain’s overall performance through information sharing activities. This benefit encourages big retailers to build their own supply chains for the sake of gaining more competitive advantages. However, this kind of electronic supply chains also arouse serious impacts on member firms’ current electronic systems and their relationships with other members. The different execution willingness and each member’s own demand make firms adopt different electronic system, which result into electronic gaps among members. Besides, in such a mid-and-small enterprises composed economic environment as Taiwan, enterprises must depend on and trust their alliance-members to create competitive advantages. Therefore, the inter-organization relationships become more important.
Through thorough literature review and industry interviews, this study sums up important factors that could form the electronic gaps, members’ relationships, information sharing and performance of supply chain. Based on survey data, this research attempts to explore the relationships among electronic gaps, members’ relationships, information sharing activities and supply chain performance. The main conclusions are as follows.
1. Member’s electronic gaps and their relationships have negative causal effects.
2. Member’s mutual relationship has negative effects on information sharing activities and supply chain performance.
3. Members’ mutual dependence has positive effect on information sharing activities.
4. Members’ mutual dependence has positive effect on supply chain performance.
According to this empirical study results, it is obvious that electronic gaps and information sharing activities could lead to positive supply chain performance. Therefore, to gain more supply chain performance via information sharing, the future objectives of Taiwanese retail industry should put their efforts on the lowering of electronic gaps and maintain better relationships among supply chain members.
