透過網路取得知識相當的方便,但只是將教材數位化之後放上網際網路,仍然沒有辦法有效提昇學生的學習興趣。本研究希望透過資訊技術,讓數位教材可以加上互動的使用者介面以增加學生的學習興趣與效果。在數位教材加上各種多媒體檔案也有不錯的效果,但是多媒體資料的取得與製作並不容易。
本研究提出一套Document/View架構的醫學教育線上學習系統。本論文主要著重介紹配合Document/View架構的教案編輯工具與具有彈性的流程控制機制的教案瀏覽工具。還有使用網站技術讓病例資料以互動的操作界面呈現,例如模擬問診,來幫助提昇學習興趣與效果。並對於多媒體資料取得成本高昂的問題,提出一套共享管理機制,讓編輯者可以分享這些取得不易的多媒體檔案,降低蒐集教案資料的成本。
此系統實際使用在成功大學醫學院的課程上。透過與專業醫師的合作與從學生得到的回饋,印證此系統的價值。並期望未來能更應用更多領域的資訊理論與技術在醫學教育上。
It’s very convenient to gain knowledge from the Internet. However, traditional teaching materials on the Internet may not draw student’s interest and improve their learning. We hope to construct interactive user interface through information technology to enhance learning interest and effectiveness. It is also effective to attract students’ attention by replacing traditional teaching materials with all kinds of multimedia teaching materials, but creating and obtaining those multimedia data is not easy.
Our research develops a web-based multimedia learning system with Document/View architecture for medical education. This thesis focuses on the authoring tools design for Document/View architecture and browsing tools with flexible flow control. By using web technologies, the system display medical case data with interactive interface, for example, to simulate the interrogation enquiry. It promotes students’ learning and effectiveness. Moreover, the system provides a management and sharing mechanism to reduce the cost on obtaining multimedia data. The author can share the multimedia data which are not easy to acquire to lower the cost of collecting teaching materials.
The system is actually used in the curriculum of the Medical center of National Cheng-Kung University. We demonstrate the value of this system through the cooperation with professional physicians and the feedback from the students. We also look forward to applying more technologies in medical education in the future.
