在全球化與數位化加速推進的時代背景下,企業正面臨日益複雜且快速變化的競爭環境。特別是對於資源密集型產業如砂石業,市場需求波動、環境法規日益嚴格以及產業內部競爭壓力的增加,使得企業的生存與發展挑戰重重。如何透過動態能力的構建與應用,適應外部環境變化,並透過競合戰略實現合作與競爭的平衡,已成為該產業的重要議題。本研究在探討動態能力如何驅動砂石企業的競合戰略實施,進而推動企業的可持續發展。
本研究以X公司為研究對象,採用質性個案研究法,深入分析企業在面對市場挑戰時的策略調適過程,特別是其如何利用動態能力(如資源整合、組織學習與創新能力)來應對外部環境的不確定性。同時,本研究檢視了該企業如何在產業鏈中與競爭者建立合作關係,以實現資源共享與風險共擔,並通過競合戰略創造雙贏的局面。研究結果顯示,動態能力在砂石產業中發揮著關鍵作用,不僅有助於企業快速響應市場需求變化,還能支持其在激烈的競爭中保持韌性與競爭優勢。此外,競合戰略理論為砂石企業提供了一種整合內外部資源與能力的新模式,使企業能夠在競爭中找到合作的可能性,從而提升整體績效。
本研究填補了動態能力與競合戰略理論在砂石產業應用的學術空白,也為產業實務提供了具體參考建議。透過強化動態能力,企業可以更有效地應對市場挑戰,並在競合關係中創造更大的價值。本研究期望能為其他資源密集型產業的發展提供有益的啟示。
In the era of accelerating globalization and digitalization, businesses face increasingly complex and rapidly changing competitive environments. For resource-intensive industries such as the sand and gravel industry, fluctuations in market demand, stricter environmental regulations, and intensified internal competition have posed significant challenges to corporate survival and development. How to construct and apply dynamic capabilities to adapt to external environmental changes and achieve a balance between cooperation and competition through coopetition strategies has become a critical issue for this industry. This study aims to explore how dynamic capabilities drive the implementation of coopetition strategies in sand and gravel enterprises, thereby promoting sustainable corporate development.
This research focuses on FuXiang Sand & Stone Co., Ltd., adopting a qualitative case study method to analyze the company's strategy adjustment processes in response to market challenges. It particularly examines how the company leverages dynamic capabilities, such as resource integration, organizational learning, and innovation, to cope with uncertainties in the external environment. Furthermore, this study investigates how the company establishes cooperative relationships with competitors within the industry chain to achieve resource sharing and risk sharing, creating win-win outcomes through coopetition strategies. The findings reveal that dynamic capabilities play a crucial role in the sand and gravel industry, not only enabling companies to respond swiftly to market changes but also supporting resilience and competitive advantage amid intense competition. Additionally, coopetition strategy theory provides sand and gravel enterprises with a novel approach to integrating internal and external resources and capabilities, allowing them to identify cooperative opportunities within competitive environments and enhance overall performance.
This study not only fills the academic gap in applying dynamic capabilities and coopetition strategy theory to the sand and gravel industry but also offers practical recommendations for the industry. By strengthening dynamic capabilities, companies can more effectively address market challenges and create greater value within coopetitive relationships. It is hoped that this study will provide useful insights for the development of other resource-intensive industries.
