企業在面臨外部環境強烈競爭下，需要定期檢視及擬定創新轉型策略以常保競爭優勢及成長動能，進而實現公司的經營目標和組織願景，業者擬定策略也需綜合考量包含組織特性、組織規模、以及內部各種競爭資源之有效利用。而本研究主要擬針對國內生技業者之藉由導入SAP ERP系統，在進行組織變革的過程中，可能的發展瓶頸及成功發展關鍵等議題進行探討；國內業者如何應用創新管理工具如SAP ERP系統等推動組織變革，有效規範及改善公司作業流程，將各種組織資訊加以透明化及數據化，避免個人的想法及行為改變標準作業流程，以藉此提升經營績效進行探討。
對於生技產業而言，導入SAP ERP工具與美國食品藥品監督管理局(FDA, Food and Drug Administration)之相關規範標準有緊密關聯性，以追求獲得FDA認證作為產品品質的最高榮譽和保證。尤其當業者發展生技產品想要往歐美地區發展，FDA認證更像一張門票，因此對於此認證的取得，廠商皆認真相對。此外，SAP ERP系統具備多語言、多公司建置於單一平台架構支援的優勢，對於需要建構全球集團化營運模板的生技製藥產業而言，可以實質幫助集團管理，達成營運決策所需之資訊整合。
期許能將研究成果提供給予生技產業相關業者進行創新轉型思考時，有一參考經驗與運行模式，並給予相關產業研究有更多元之參考方向。有關本研究之主要研究目的如下：
1.探討國內生技業者導入SAP ERP系統的過程中，可能產生的經營發展瓶頸及因應策略為何？
2.探討國內生技業者透過導入SAP ERP系統帶給企業的未來契機與其成功發展關鍵為何？
本研究經由過去相關文獻收集整理與探討，以及針對研究個案A公司深入訪談分析之綜合研討結果，總結有以下幾項重要研究發現：
一、台灣生技業者近年發展困境為在全球競爭環境及經營規模擴大下，舊有企業作業流程系統逐漸符合日趨複雜的競爭環境做適當且彈性調整，故導入SAP ERP系統應用，為企業創新轉型做準備。
二、生技業者導入SAP ERP創新系統擬綜合考量及兼顧組織發展目標、變革領導風格、人力資源管理及組織創新流程，始能成功地帶動企業變革。
三、生技業者導入SAP ERP系統要考量「人員」、「技術」及「流程」三大構面，有助於企業執行組織創新管理的推動。

Facing of the external environmental competition, enterprises need to periodically review and formulate innovative and transformative strategies to maintain competitive advantage and growth momentum, and gradually achieve the business objectives and corporate vision. The company's strategy needs to be comprehensively considered to include organizational characteristics and scale, and effective use of various competitive resources. This study is mainly to explore the possible bottlenecks and successful key issues of development for the management strategies of domestic biotech companies. The thesis would like to discuss how to help the domestic industry deal with change management during the organizational change process through applying innovative management tools such as SAP ERP system to enhance the corporate business performance. The purpose are to effectively standardize and improve the company's operating procedures, make the operational data transparently and systematically so that we hope to establish a corporate SOP(Standardization of Procedure) without changing by individual’s personal thoughts and behaviors.
For the biotech industry, the introduction of SAP ERP System is closely related to the relevant standards of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The corporate would like to pursue and gain FDA certification as the highest honor and guarantee of product quality. The FDA certification is more like a ticket for quality assurance for biotech company, especially when the products are developed and sold in Europe and America. So, the biotech manufacturers are serious about the acquisition of this certification. In addition, SAP ERP system is multi-language and multi-company construction supported by a single platform. For the biotech pharmaceutical industry, this advantage helps to construct a global group operation modeling and to achieve the information integration so that it could substantially help the top management team in operational/strategic decision-making.
In the future, the research result hopes to provide the relevant experience to biotech industry players on the innovative transformation thinking and could be as a diverse reference operational mode. The main research objectives of this study are as followings:
1. To explore the possible bottlenecks of development and the corresponding strategies for the domestic biotech enterprises in the process of introducing SAP ERP System.
2. To study for what the future opportunities and development successful key issues to domestic biotech companies by introducing SAP ERP System.
Through the relevant literature analysis of the biotech industry and the in-depth interviews of the case called company A, the study summarizes the following important research findings:
1. Facing the development dilemma and global competitive and complex environmental changes in recent years, Taiwan's biotech industry finds the old enterprise system is gradually unable to fit the current operations and adjust flexibly by time when taking expansion business, so it is to introduce SAP ERP system application as a preparation for corporate innovative transformation.
2. The successful key issues for the biotech industry to do change management by introducing SAP ERP system are to comprehensively consider organizational development goals, changing leadership style, human resource management and organizational innovation processes.
3. The biotech industry introduces SAP ERP system could help the corporate implementing and promoting organizational innovation management smoothly with the consideration of the three aspects, “personnel”, “technology” and “process”.
