本研究的研究目的探討運用多元策略團體衛教對憂鬱症患者之疾病知識、疾病態度、服藥行為與憂鬱症狀的改善成效。採實驗性研究設計,收案條件符合DSM-IV TR診斷標準之憂鬱症患者、年齡介於18-64歲、國小以上學歷、能以國、台語溝通者,排除合併人格違常的憂鬱症患者、合併失智症的憂鬱症患者。收案時間為95年2月6日至5月10日,共41人,隨機分派患者至實驗組與對照組,實驗組21人,對照組20人。實驗組參與多元策略團體衛教共三小時,內容包括:一起觀看衛教光碟、主題的講解及團體討論,帶衛教手冊與衛教光碟片回家觀看。對照組則給予衛教手冊與衛教光碟片回家觀看。
評量工具包括憂鬱症知識量表、憂鬱症態度量表、自評服藥行為量表與貝式
憂鬱量表;於衛教實施前與衛教結束後的第六週進行評量。以SPSS For Windows 11.5版之軟體進行資料分析,研究結果顯示:衛教介入後,兩組在憂鬱症知識得分實驗組高於對照組,達統計達顯著差異(P<.05);在憂鬱症態度得分及自評服藥行為得分,兩組未達統計顯著差異,但實驗組自評服藥行為得分在組內的比較上達統計的顯著差異;在貝式憂鬱量表的得分實驗組低於控制組,達統計上的顯著差異(P<.05)。
The aim of this study attempts to explore the efficacy of using a multi-strategic group psychoeducation program on depressive patients. The program is guided towards the goal of increasing the patients’ knowledge, attitudes, use of medication and improving the symptoms of depression. Using an experimental design, this study followed the DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria in recruiting depressive patients between the ages of 18-64. All participants had at least an elementary educated level and can communicate either by Mandarin or Taiwanese. Depressive patients that comorbid with personality disorders or dementia were excluded from the study. From February 6, 2006 through May 10, 2006, the study recruited 41 participants and randomly placed them into the control (20 participants) or experimental (21 participants) group. The experimental group was given a three-hour multi-strategic group psychoeducation program which included; viewing a psychoeduation video together, discussion on specific topics, and bringing home self-help videos and brochures. On the other hand, the control group was only given the self-help videos and brochures to take home and view.
The assessment instruments used included, depression knowledge scale, depression attitude scale, self-rated drug compliance scale, and Beck depression inventory. All participants were assessed once prior to group intervention, and a second time six weeks after the psychoeducation. Data analysis was performed using SPSS for Windows 11.5, and the significance level was set at .05. Study results found a significant improvement in the understanding of depression for the experimental group after intervention. However, no significance was found between the two groups on the depressive attitudes score and self-rated drug compliance score. But a significant improvement in the self-rated drug compliance score noted in the experimental group after intervention. Additionally, the perimental group had a significantly lower score on the Beck depressive Inventory than the control group.
