  • 個人電腦普及以前,萬能式中文打字機在使用中文的地區被廣泛作為替代手寫的工具。本研究首先參照各辭典,歸納出打字機的定義。接著統整有限的文獻,介紹歷史上較重要的幾種中文打字機,並推敲其特徵及使用方法。經由與過去從事相關工作人員的訪談,介紹使用萬能式中文打字機的5個步驟(安裝紙、設定打字方向、設定邊界、打字及換行),由構造分析將萬能式中文打字機中的機構分為4個系統(打印系統、間格系統、邊界控制系統及色帶系統),並以Solidworks軟體建立一3D模型,來暸解內部機構運作。另外,利用加速規量測打字桿的加速度後,經運動分析及動力分析得到其輸出角速度約為輸入角速度的13~14倍,而輸入作用力則為-6.73~4.46 N。最後,設計一趣味影片,搭配以中文打字機演奏之音樂,用以推廣機械式中文打字機奧妙的機械原理。

    Wannengshi Chinese typewriters (萬能式中文打字機) were widely used as a tool for substituting hand-writing in Chinese-writing areas before personal computers became popular. This work studies the definitions of Chinese word “typewriter” and introduces some important Chinese typewriters in the history through the study of limited literature. The five steps of operation (installing the paper, setting orientation of words, setting the boundaries, typing and shifting to a new line) and four mechanical systems (typing system, spacing system, boundary controlling system and ribbon system) are introduced through structural analysis along with interviewing some professional persons. A 3D model is constructed for showing the mechanical structure and the motion of a Chinese typewriter. In order to know the motion and input force of the typing mechanism, an accelerometer is applied to measure the angular acceleration of typing bar. Through kinematic and dynamic analyses, the corresponding output angular velocity is calculated (13~14 times of input angular velocity) and the input force is between -6.73~4.46 N. In addition, a music played by a Chinese typewriter is designed and a video with the music is presented to attract people to mechanical Chinese typewriters.
