本設計論文是以聚為主題的建築規劃案。我們透過觀察物質、動植物的群聚現象，以及人類從古至今聚集的因素與環境，探討聚的本質。聚的本質是一種吸引力與容器：吸引力為奇觀，容器為碗。本案的基地位於台南運河的水岸空間，一個漂浮於水面的碗作為設計的出發點顯得格外適切。筆者使用此概念發展設計，期望藉由此聚之場所，活絡城市活動的能量。

經過容器和人聚空間的研究，實踐此建築成果。此造型鮮明的建築物將會成為台南城市中醒目的地標，透過其獨特的外型，成為台南市的人聚焦點。

This design thesis is an architectural design on the subject of gathering. We focus the essence of gathering through observing the meeting phenomena of substance, animals and plants, and the factors and environment in which humans have gathered since ancient times. The gathering essence is a kind of attractive as well as a vessel: attractive is spectacle, vessel a bowel. Our site is located at a waterfront of Tainan Canal on which a bowl floating on is an apt design concept. We start from this idea to develop the project and hope to enrich people's energy via city activities.

Through the studies of the vessel and people gathering space, hopefully we can fulfill this project whose distinctive appearance will turn into a hallmark and a focus in Tainan city.
