  • 拜科技發達所賜,全世界有許多人擁有了富足的生活,但是目前仍有40億人生活在貧窮之中。Prahalad教授將這些人歸類為金字塔底層,並認為創新將可幫助他們脫離貧困的泥淖,而企業可以在此族群中發現大量的機會。本研究將整合TRIZ設計方法和金字塔底層創新準則,並蒐集相關創新案例整理成金字塔底層創新資料庫。此資料庫將提供創新案例和TRIZ準則讓設計者參考。本研究亦引進Goldfire軟體的功能模型分析模組,幫助設計者建立創新產品模型,檢視相關元件的運作關係,產生完整的創新方案。
    本研究將提出一創新設計流程,整合金字塔底層創新資料庫和Goldfire軟體,配合金字塔底層創新準則,產生金字塔底層創新設計方法。此方法將幫助設計者定義關鍵問題,並透過完整的流程和創新工具的輔助,產生金字塔底層產品創新概念。最後利用此設計方法實作案例,確定此方法的可行性,幫助設計者能夠了解此方法並運用之。

    Many people have prosperous life because of technology, but there are still 4 billion people living in poverty now. Professor Prahalad used the definition "Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP)" to describe them. He thinks that innovations can lead them to the better life. This thesis will integrate TRIZ theory and innovative principles at the bottom of the pyramid, and then collect enough related BoP innovative cases. The database will help designers to get great ideas by offering innovative cases and related TRIZ principles. The device analysis of Goldfire software is used in this research to help designers to build product model. By understanding the relations between different components through this product model, designers can get complete innovative solutions for BoP problems.
    This thesis will present a new innovative design process which integrates the database for the bottom of the pyramid, the device analysis of Goldfire software and innovative principles at the bottom of the pyramid to form an innovative design method for the bottom of the pyramid. This method will help designers to define key questions and go through the design process and innovative tools to produce the innovative product concepts for the bottom of the pyramid. Finally, three design cases will demonstrate new product concepts for the bottom of the pyramid to illustrate the capability of this method.
