本研究目的在於探討目前定期海運業者的企業文化類型與組織承諾現況,並進一步探討企業文化與組織承諾對績效的影響。經由因素分析,將企業文化分成「發展性文化」、「階級性文化」、「家族性文化」與「理性式文化」;組織承諾則分為「情感式承諾」、「規範式承諾」與「持續式承諾」;公司績效則分為「員工績效」、「財務績效」、「服務績效」與「整合與顧客回應績效」。研究結果發現企業文化中以「階級式文化」與「家族式文化」會影響到「組織承諾」,組織承諾中以「情感性承諾」會影響到公司績效。而在企業文化對公司績效影響方面,以「發展性文化」對財務績效有顯著影響,此研究結果可提供給定期海運業者組織營運策略之參考。
The objective of this study is to examine the relationships between corporate culture, organizational commitment, and corporate performance in the context of liner shipping firms. Four types of corporate culture are identified based on a factor analysis: (a) developmental culture, (b) hierarchical culture, (c) group culture, and (d) rational culture. Organizational commitment can be divided into three dimensions including affective commitment, normative commitment, and continuance commitment, whereas corporate performance is categorized into four indicators, namely employee performance, financial performance, service performance, as well as integrity and feedback performance.
The findings of this study indicate that hierarchical culture and group culture have a significant influence on organizational commitment, while affective commitment has a significant effect on corporate performance. The results also indicate that developmental culture has significant effect on financial performance. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings on corporate culture and organizational commitment in liner shipping are discussed in this research.
